About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Credit Officer for Financial Institutions in North America and Latin America. This role is pivotal within the Risk Management function, with a focus on a diverse portfolio that includes commercial banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies, CCPs, mortgage originators, and mortgage REITs. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit risk analysis, assigning internal credit ratings and limits, and monitoring exposure. This position requires the ability to approve daily trade requests across a range of products, analyze complex transactions, and present credit risk recommendations to senior committees. The VP Credit Officer will also be involved in structuring trading terms, negotiating credit terms for legal documentation, and leading counterparty due diligence. Applicants for the VP Credit Officer role at the company should have a strong background in FIG credit risk, with a particular emphasis on traded products and insurance sector experience.
