Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Podiatry to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Provide comprehensive surgical care in collaboration with attending surgeons and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care.Evaluate and manage podiatric surgical patients.Assist in the operating room and perform Peri-operative assessments.Participate in Emergency Department consultations, coordinate discharge planning, and provide cross-coverage of other surgical services as needed.Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.Current certification issued by the NCCPA.Surgical/Orthopedic experience preferred; motivated new graduates with strong surgical clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.Wages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
