Responsibilities Develop new contacts and become known in your community. Meet new people, serve your community, and grow your sales, business, and networking skills. Build and manage your own agency with focus on prospecting and selling Shelter products. If applicable, bring on staff to help with general administrative duties and sales improvement. Provide exceptional client communication in a sales environment. At Shelter, you will receive support to launch your career and pursue ongoing professional development. What Is Required / Qualifications A motivated attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit. Skilled capacity for effectively communicating with clients in a sales atmosphere. Some sales experience and a degree with general business courses are helpful. No prior insurance background is required; around half of new Shelter Agents have never worked in insurance.
