HVAC TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: DYERSVILLE, IA

WAGE: $25-$40/HOUR

Job Summary:

Sedona is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install HVAC systems, ductwork, thermostats, and related equipment
Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation issues
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Test system performance and ensure proper operation
Maintain accurate service records and work documentation
Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Respond to emergency service calls as needed

Qualifications:

Experience in HVAC installation and service preferred
EPA Certification required
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions
Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems
NATE certification is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
