Job Description
This role focuses on mounting and assembling wheels and tires for irrigation equipment and off-the-road (OTR) applications in a fast-paced production environment. You will use hand and power tools to swap out and assemble tires with accuracy and consistency, helping the team meet daily production targets while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities

• Mount and assemble wheels and tires for irrigation equipment and off-the-road (OTR) applications with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Preassemble and organize wheels and tires in preparation for mounting to support efficient line production.
• Read and interpret wheel and tire requests from customers to ensure correct products and configurations are used.
• Mount different sizes of wheels and tires safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrenches, and other essential tools throughout the workday.
• Work on your feet for the full shift while performing physical, hands-on tasks in a production setting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned to support overall production and facility operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools in a mechanical, production, or general labor environment.
• Ability to perform mounting, assembly, and general mechanical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Capability to read and understand customer wheel and tire requests and follow written instructions.
• Comfort working on your feet for the entire shift in a fast-paced, line production environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure wheels and tires are mounted correctly and meet quality standards.
• Reliability and strong work ethic suitable for a skilled labor position.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting daily production targets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in skilled labor, mechanical work, or general labor roles.
• Familiarity with tire tools, alignment machines, and air wrenches.
• Comfort working with different sizes and types of wheels and tires.
• Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed to support the team.
• Interest in learning and growing within a production and tire mounting environment.

Work Environment
This position is based at a new facility in Omaha, NE, with a focus on tires for irrigation equipment and off-the-road applications. The schedule is a day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will work on your feet for most of the day in a hands-on, fast-paced production setting, using hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrenches, and other mechanical equipment. The work involves physical activity and requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-conscious environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
