Travel or Local Tele RN Job in Birmingham , Alabama

Responsibilities Tele RNs consult with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. Tele RN utilizes machines that measure a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies. Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient. Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member.
