Material Handler - 2nd Shift (34975)

Job Description

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for an Experienced Material Handler to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. This is a 2nd Shift position, Monday through Saturday, 4:30PM- 3:00AM. Pay is based on experience. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume to be considered. Candidate must have previous Material Handling and Forklift experience.

Previous Material Handling and Forklift experience.
Receives and unloads shipments
Distribute Material to all work centers
Operate forklift in a safe manner
Daily Inspection of forklift
Overseas and maintains machines, including but, not limited to puck master and the coolant tote
Responsible for 5s of entire facility
Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling and delivery.
General Support to production
Other duties as assigned

Competency:

Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. See more occupations related to this skill.

Work Activities:

Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
