- Serve as QA Lead for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation, providing leadership for QA strategy, planning, execution, and governance.
- Develop and maintain overall QA governance, testing approach, schedules, and resource planning for project delivery.
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for program leadership, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of testing, including functional, integration, regression, UAT, data migration, ETL, and interface testing.
- Oversee defect management, including tracking, prioritization, resolution, retesting, and validation prior to deployment.
- Validate EHR workflows, data conversions, SaaS configuration changes, interfaces, and vendor releases to ensure alignment with business, clinical, regulatory, audit, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate and execute validation of patient, clinical, pharmacy, billing, and historical records for accuracy and completeness.
- Review and test ETL processes, data mapping documents, validation rules, and reconciliation reports.
- Conduct pre-load and post-load data validation, field-level verification, and exception analysis.
- Ensure workflows support multiple user roles (clinicians, nurses, pharmacy, registration, administrative staff) per business and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test evidence in compliance with audit requirements.
- Support and guide user acceptance testing (UAT), including scenario preparation, defect triage, execution, and sign-off.
- Utilize test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ALM, Jira) for tracking test execution and defects.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and business/clinical SMEs to ensure successful testing outcomes.
- Support both manual and automated testing approaches as applicable.
- Ensure all documentation meets audit, project delivery, and compliance standards.
- Work onsite in Austin, Texas (no remote work; local Texas candidates only).
- Participate in interviews conducted in person or via Microsoft Teams.
