Mammography Technologist

Mammographic TechnologistThis position is responsible for producing high quality mammographic images and all special examinations necessary, i.e., needle localizations, radiography of specimens, spot magnifications and stereotactic biopsies. This position is also responsible for performing quality assurance activities as established by the department and regulatory agencies in a timely and accurate manner.Certifications and LicensuresARRT - Reg Radiologic Technologist Required Equivalent Experience - Knowledge of radiologic technique as normally acquired through completion of a JRCERT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent. ARRT registered in radiography.ARRT M - Mammographer Required Equivalent Experience - Obtain ARRT mammography certification within one year of hire date.BLS - Basic Life Support Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer.Required EducationAssociates Degree Equivalent Experience: Degree in Healthcare Related Field. Knowledge of radiologic technique as normally acquired through completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
