Travel Echo Technologist (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment i n Newport, VT 05855 .
Contract Details
- Days, Monday - Friday, 5 days per week.
- Start Date: 7/13/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Location: Newport, VT 05855
- Hourly Pay: $ 33.50
- Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $2251.00
- EMR Used: Cerner
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms on patients to assess heart function and detect abnormalities
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment ensuring it functions correctly
- Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns they may have
- Review and interpret preliminary results, highlighting any abnormal findings for the cardiologist
- Record and store echocardiogram images and patient information in the medical records system
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety
- Monitor patient vitals and response during the procedure to ensure their well-being
- Maintain continuing education and stay updated with advances in echocardiography technology and practices
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the diagnostic procedure
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience
- Active American Heart Association BLS is required
- Advanced certification such as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) is required
- Proficiency with advanced echocardiography techniques like stress echocardiography or transesophageal echocardiograms is required
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
