Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Landscaper to join our premier Horticulture team. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in maintaining elite property standards and possesses a strong foundation in horticulture practices.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong work ethic, a commitment to team collaboration, and the ability to execute tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities & Standards

• Equipment Operations: Safely and skillfully operate a full range of commercial landscaping equipment, including stand-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, string trimmers, edgers, and other specialized hand and power tools.
• Equipment Care: Maintain all assigned equipment in pristine, operational condition.
• Quality Execution: Maintain high standards across the property, demonstrating an eye for detail.
• Operational Excellence: Take the extra steps necessary to ensure the grounds reflect a luxury club environment.
• Teamwork & Professionalism: Foster mutual respect within the team, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity.

Professional Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in the field of horticulture, commercial landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of horticulture standards, processes, and the standard equipment used in estate or golf course maintenance.
• Capability: Ability to work efficiently outdoors in all year-round weather conditions.
• Execution: Strong time awareness with the ability to stay on task, follow complex directions, make good decisions and problem solve on the job.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturday assignments based on club and seasonal requirements.
• Compensation: Based on experience
