Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An on-campus retail pharmacy serving university students is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with experience in hospital inpatient or retail pharmacy settings. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced pharmacy that supports student health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
• Assist pharmacists in managing inventory and maintaining pharmacy records
• Provide exceptional customer service to students and staff, answering questions and processing prescriptions efficiently
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
• Support daily operations to ensure smooth workflow within the retail pharmacy environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital inpatient or retail pharmacy environments strongly preferred
• PTCB certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently certified
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• On-campus retail pharmacy located at Richard E. Lindner Center, 3rd Floor (Suite 335A), Cincinnati, OH
