As a Nutrition Intern, you will assist the Registered Dietitian with nutrition events across campus. Assist in event planning, marketing and execution. This position is ideal for a nutrition student in any track. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $18.40. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with campus RD and other nutrition interns to plan events
• Assist in updating menus throughout the dining halls
• Support nutrient analysis for all food items served
• Conduct audits at campus dining locations on a regular basis
• Develop nutrition-based content ideas for food articles in various publications
• Support RD in educating students regarding healthy food choices through campus outreach programs
• Support nutrition event execution
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Ensure security of company assets

Qualifications:

• Previous relevant working experience preferred
• An interest in pursuing work in the nutrition field
• Ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward students, clients, and co-workers
• Ability to maintain a contagious and positive work ethic
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
• This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
