Forklift Operator

This shift will be Monday-Friday 3:00PM- 12:00AM with potential weekend work.

Forklift operator will be responsible to perform a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and will be hard working, punctual, dependable, self-motivated, self-managed, organized, and flexible. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-term commitment to grow within a growing company.

What You'll Do:

• Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to FIFO, FEFO inventory rotation.
• Works in dry, refrigerated and freezer warehouses with appropriate PPE for each.
• Counts and weighs materials and records information.
• Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.
• Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task.
• Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing hand truck or Forklift.
• Stacks and assembles materials.
• Perform floor counts when necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

What You'll Need:

• One to two years related experience preferably in a food production environment
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00 per hour + benefits

Compensation within this pay range is dependent upon the candidate's experience, education, and relevant qualifications
