Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)

Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) Inova Health Center 6355 – Franconia‑Springfield is looking for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join the team. Job Responsibilities Administer sound patient care practices, in accordance with department and hospital policies, to ensure patient safety. Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations. Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self, following department protocols and regulatory guidelines. Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition. Track patients according to department procedures. Identify errors and take immediate corrective action, as evidenced by EMR and PACS systems and Radiology Information Systems reports. Participate in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in‑services, and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography. Certification: Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist upon start. Must obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance of the offer. Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required upon start. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
