To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it is their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssists physicians and nurses in the performance of diagnostic examinations by performing duties such as monitoring vital signs, preparing and positioning the patient, or by performing a variety of routine diagnostic tests such as glucometer test for blood glucose level, collection of urine sample, etc./liliAssists physicians and nurses in the care and treatment of veteran patients receiving medical, surgical or skilled long term treatment/liliProvides a full range of patient care to complex patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems including personal nursing care, support duties, and treatments/liliUses good communication skills in dealing with patients, some of whom are unusually difficult to care for or communicate with/liliComplies with universal precaution and with all infection control policies and procedures/liliMakes rounds to ensure visual contact, safety, and comfort of each patient/liliMaintains a safe/clean work environment and completes assigned environmental duties/liliEnters specific information onto the patients records using the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS)/liliPerforms direct patient support work including personal patient care and/or basic patient education/liliCleans bedside tables, stocks linens, cleans wheelchairs, and other direct resident care equipment using appropriate precautions/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliCalifornia-licensed as a CNA/liliBe trained and experienced in hospital nursing/liliHas at least one (1) year experience as a CNA/liliIs capable of providing nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients/liliHas and maintains current BLS certification/liliHas no health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with the performance of assigned duties/liliHas documented training and skills verification/liliNo sponsorship available/li/ulpPay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 hourly/ppAll candidates must be able to:/pulliSit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift/liliLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist/liliLift up to 20 lbs/liliCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance/liliPush/pull with 30 lbs of force/li/ulpAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran./p/div
