Job Title: Polysomnographic Technologist Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Department: Sleep Lab Req #: 0000219311 Status: Hourly (Full-Time) Shift: Evening Pay Range: $32.00 - $44.00 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and the Administrative Director of Pulmonary & Sleep services to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and can provide oversight of other sleep center staff. Qualifications Required: Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist At least one year experience as a sleep technologist. Preferred: Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred. Certifications and Licenses Required: Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC (Certification by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC does NOT satisfy this qualification.) Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.
