THE JOB

The Van Buren is seeking a Cleaning Crew Member to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for maintaining venue and bar cleanliness in an efficient, professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Keep the venue safe and clean at all time, including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
• Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include sweeping and picking up trash and putting away equipment.
• Maintain service rooms and storage areas
• Use cleaning tools such s mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, vacuum cleaner, etc.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• Requires a high school diploma/GED
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Three or more years in cleaning services or related type work preferred
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
