CNC Set Up Machinist

Aegis is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our client's organization. This position is a 6 month contract to hire position with our client located in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
**Must Have:
**
0-3+ years of machining experience
Machining or CNC schooling experience
Someone who has a great attitude
Someone who is willing to learn
Takes direction well from Sr. team members and leadership.
Willing to jump in where is needed.
Desire to grow and learn programming on machines.
Preferred qualifications:
Okuma Lathe/Mill experience
Mori Lathe/Mill experience
Any AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Mastercam experience
Experience with measurement tools – calipers, micrometers, etc.
Multi axis machining experience
Lathe – secondary spindle experience
Experience with ISO certified plant locations. (paperwork and quality control that comes with that)
Able to understand blueprints/mechanical drawings
You should be proficient in:
- Equipment Troubleshooting
- CNC Tooling
- CNC Machine Repair
- CNC Machine Installation
- CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
- Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement
