1st Shift: Flexible hours with start time being between 6:00 am - 9:00 am

About the role:

Under general supervisory direction, assists in the daily support of processes, materials and equipment for medical devices consisting of extruded, braided and injection-molded components in order to meet production goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform incoming inspection activities on products, in such categories as certification verification, product label, and Purchasing Orders.
• Perform product release activities for products in-bound from other BSC plants.
• Documents the non-conformance or suspected non-conformance of in-bound materials
• Performs investigation of nonconforming material through review of processing records and SAP. Executes the disposition of material through approved nonconforming reports, or coordinating the return of material to the manufacturing plants. Execute scrap and inter-company movement transactions in SAP
• Releases products to Finished Goods/inventory following acceptable inspection. Data entry and SAP transactions related to inspection activities
• Identify best quality practices and areas for improvement and participate in continual improvement projects across the facility
• Support Quality Engineering in tracking and achieving metrics.
• Performs other duties, such as assistance with general questions/problems, identification/implementation of process improvements, leading of projects, providing input to performance reviews, enforcement/support of company policies/procedures and other duties of staff as assigned.

Required qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent

• Basic technical skills

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
