Certified Medication Aide

*Position Summary: *

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our care team. The CMA will be responsible for safely and accurately administering medications to residents, monitoring for side effects, and assisting with daily care needs in accordance with each resident's individualized care plan.

*Responsibilities: *

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication records.
* Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
* Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
* Follow established infection control and safety procedures.
* Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care.
* Support the nursing team with other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications: *

* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Current Kansas Certified Medication Aide certification.
* Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
