OR - Cardiac Surgery RN (CVOR)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac surgical nursing care to patients undergoing operative and procedural sedation cases
• Serve as Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room across a patient population that includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of provider specialties to deliver safe perioperative care
• Support both same-day discharge and inpatient admission surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing program
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in an ICU, PCU, and/or medical/surgical acute care setting
• Minimum of one (1) year CVOR / Open Heart experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU nursing experience
• Surgical scrubbing experience
