MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a company based in Columbus, Mississippi. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as hydraulic machinery and electrical systems.

Pay Rate
$20.00 to $37.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Must be flexible to work 11 00 am to 7 30 pm if needed.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Observe mechanical equipment in operation to locate performance issues.
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and replace or repair defective parts.
• Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements when fitting new parts.
• Repair and replace defective hydraulic valves, mechanical equipment, electrical components and other equipment as required.
• Install specific functional and structural parts in machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance at regular intervals on mechanical parts and large equipment.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or equipment.
• Two to four years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Full-time, temporary to hire
