Ionbond is part of renowned Japanese industrial consortium IHI Group.What Defines This Job?Inspects coated parts for coating thickness, coating adherence, surface finish, substrate & coating hardness, size, and appearance, records inspection information consistent with prescribed methods and proceduresConduct audits under supervision; control plan audits, product audits, 5S, HSE, QMS self-assessment and customer supplied audit formsMaintain a clean workstation; ensure it is functioning within required safety guidelines, and maintaining lab equipmentMust be able to read and understand PFMEA and control plansEnsure that equipment in inspection area is calibrated and bring to attention of supervisor on any non-conforming conditionTesting materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards.Perform SPC Audits to ensure consistency with prescribed SPC charts and recommends the disposition of and/or acceptable corrective action for nonconforming parts within established Quality Assurance guidelinesUse precision measuring instruments and makes precision inspection set-upsWhat Do We Offer?Unleashing potential is at the core of our approach. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Excel.) Good organization and time management. Must pass a color vision test and math test. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods. Must be able to read small print, as small as 6 font and distinguish color differences. Must be able to wear required PPE. Strong critical thinking skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good dexterity skills, able to handle precision machined parts. Can work night shift or weekend shift. This position has the flexibility of working a 8 or 10 hour shift. Ability to read instructions in English. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check and physical screening.
