Central Orthodontic Specialists serves children, teens, and adults throughout Central Wisconsin from our offices in Stevens Point and Waupaca. We combine modern technology with personalized care to provide efficient, high-quality orthodontic treatment while building lasting relationships with our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will:

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before each appointment.
• Take digital photographs, radiographs, and intraoral scans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions.
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by training and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards.
• Keep appointments running efficiently and on schedule.
• Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Help create a welcoming, friendly, and positive experience for every patient.

Travel Requirement

This position is based primarily in our Stevens Point office. Applicants must be willing to travel to our Waupaca office approximately 2–3 times per month to provide care at our satellite location. Travel dates are scheduled in advance as part of our regular office schedule.
