Soelbergs Ace Hardware in Grantsville is looking for a Store Supervisor to join our team!

As a Store Supervisor, you'll be an important part of our store leadership team. You'll help ensure the store operates smoothly and our customers receive the friendly, knowledgeable service they expect from their local Ace Hardware.

When the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are not present, the Supervisor will take the lead-helping manage employees, making decisions, assisting customers, and ensuring the store is ready for business each day.

This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience, or for a motivated team member who is ready to take the next step in their career.

• Help open and close the store , ensuring everything is ready for business or properly secured at the end of the day.

• Provide leadership and direction to employees when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are not present.

• Help manage daily store operations and ensure employees are staying on task and providing excellent customer service.

• Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and solving problems.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store.

• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and product presentation.

• Assist with ordering and receiving merchandise as needed.

• Help with scheduling, training, and other managerial responsibilities as needed.

• Address customer or employee concerns professionally and appropriately.

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with day-to-day operations and special projects.

• Lead by example and help create a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Because this is a leadership position, flexibility and availability are important .

The ideal candidate must be available to work:

• Nights and evenings

• Weekends

• Holidays

• A typical schedule will include approximately 2 Saturdays per month

• Typically opening the store 1-2 day per week, this will very based on needs. 

• Typically closing the store 3-4 days per week, this will very based on needs. 

Schedules may vary based on business needs, staffing, holidays, and other circumstances.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Previous retail, hardware, customer service, or leadership experience is helpful, but not required .

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable, responsible, and willing to take initiative.

• Comfortable making decisions and taking the lead when needed.

• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays .

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• A genuine desire to help customers and be part of the local community.

Leadership experience is a plus, but we're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, dependability, and desire to grow.
