As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you'll lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge IT solutions and its 5,000+ users across the Pacific theater. This is your opportunity to architect resilient systems that drive real-time decision-making and enable strategic command and control at the speed of relevance.Essential Job DutiesDesign, develop, deliver, integrate, and document, Enterprise IT Services and Architecture.Evaluate technology strategy, organization, applications, and infrastructure.Coordinate on enterprise architecture landscape, including technology, information, data, security, and integration.Evaluate new services, technologies, software, tools, and devices that may improve Enterprise capabilities for automation and orchestration.Assess current work processes and workflows, propose recommendations for improvement and efficiencies.Validate in place SOPs and TTPs against Subject Matter Expertise of relevant technologiesDesign and Deliver solutions for customer requirements to include List of Materials (LOM), proposals and related supporting documents (e.g., solution diagrams, implementation timelines, etc.)Regularly collect and summarizes pertinent IT Architecture accomplishments, issues and concernsAcknowledge, categorize, and validate Request for Information (RFI's) for Enterprise Management and Government customer(s)Ensures compliance of custody and ownership of Government equipment and related components.Participates in and provides feedback to IT-relevant special projects, as required.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsAn Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.Bachelors degree in IT Architecture, or similar or 10+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Engineering and Operations involving complex classified DoD environments and mandatory security controls (e.g., STIGs) including 5+ years in analysis, design and delivery of complex IT infrastructures.DoD 8570 IAT-III compliant (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH).Relevant IT Certification (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, Dell, Forcepoint, HP, HPE, ITIL, Microsoft, Nutanix, Palo Alto, VMware).Advanced knowledge in delivery and support to classified VDI/virtual environment platforms (e.g., Citrix, VMware, Azure Cloud/Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV) including thin-clients and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).Advanced knowledge in IT security mechanics (e.g., Zero-trust, authentication protocols: MFA/hardware tokens, AD/ADFS, certificates and encryption, auditing, and logging).Extended knowledge of modern operating systems (e.g., MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and associated secure-access configurations.Prior experience with NSA CSfC requirements including Multi-Site Connectivity Capability Package (MSCCP) and Mobile Access Capability Package (MACP).Prior experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and/or DISA Trusted Network Environment (TNE).Experience in ITIL framework and best practices (e.g., Change Management, Configuration Management, Capacity Planning).Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.Able to work within a distributed organizational environment.Customer-service oriented with a willingness to participate and assist.Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in IT solutions implementation, administration, troubleshooting and support.Able to support 24/7 operations (including support to exercises), when necessary.Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree in IT Architecture, or similar.Experience in ITIL framework and best practices (e.g., Change Management, Configuration Management, Capacity Planning).Certifications in TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and Google Professional Cloud Architect.Additional IT certifications in relevant technology platform (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, Dell, HPE/Aruba, ITIL, Juniper, Microsoft, Nutanix, Palo Alto, VMware).Advanced understanding and delivery on storage components (e.g., NAS/SAN storage), data availability (e.g., high availability/clustering, MS DFS-R) and archiving.Familiarity with installation and support to Microsoft back-end services in a distributed data center environment (e.g., SQL Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint).Extended knowledge of networking (switching and routing protocols, installation, and configuration).Prior experience using Cisco, Brocade, HPE/Aruba and Palo Alto network solutions.Well-versed in Department of Defense (DoD) protocols, procedures, and regulations.Familiarity with C2 applications and program support.Prior Help Desk/software experience (e.g., Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow).Additional InformationWork EnvironmentWorking conditions are normal for an office environment.Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends.Target Salary Range: $113,153 to $135,643.Working at SOSiAll interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
