Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to perform inspections of welded and fabricated components and verify compliance with drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and established quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, weld, and structural steel inspections.
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and CMM equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Perform NDE inspections as qualified, including VT, PT, MT, and UT.
• Identify and document defects and nonconforming conditions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate quality findings.
• Support corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
• 2+ years of related inspection, welding, fabrication, or quality experience.
• Experience performing dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of basic math, geometry, and measurement.
• Computer skills sufficient to complete inspection documentation and reporting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility will be verified in accordance with applicable federal law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level II certification in one or more NDE methods, including VT, PT, MT, or UT.
• CMM operation or programming experience.
• Structural steel or welded fabrication inspection experience.
