Salesperson/Store Driver Store 2510

Salesperson Entry level sales position supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. Requires basic automotive and parts knowledge, the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers, and familiarity with store inventory and maintenance processes. Responsibilities Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls. Achieve personal sales goal and help the store achieve its sales goals. Offer DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper blade installation. Maintain store product and operational standards. Manage inventory processes, including truck put away, cycle counts, and back‑stock. Keep the store clean and organized (floors, bathrooms, stock areas). Deliver parts to customers safely when required. Success Factors Basic driving and navigation ability. Proficiency with delivery board systems. Friendly communication and customer‑service skills. Knowledge of safety practices and inventory systems. Operating POS and parts lookup systems. Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service. Essential Job Skills Speak and write English (Spanish a plus). Communicate effectively and build strong relationships. Read and interpret documents: safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, procedure manuals. Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed. Prior Experience 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences. Work Environment Work is primarily indoors; occasional exposure to outdoor elements, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious locations, chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
