In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy. You’re a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work. You’re equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Qualifications You must have a Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards. You must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
