Job Summary
MRI Technologist Dallas, TX. This position involves performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a healthcare facility. The role requires working independently during scheduled shifts to support diagnostic imaging needs.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (AHA only), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT; 3 years minimum experience; Level I Trauma experience required.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday.
- Essential functions include: Performing MRI procedures according to exam protocols, maintaining imaging quality, communicating with patients, preparing patients and equipment, following safety and infection control protocols, and maintaining documentation.
- Ability to perform procedures independently, communicate effectively, ensure patient safety, and serve as a preceptor when necessary.
- Experience and skills in patient care, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety standards are required.
