Sr Inventory Management Specialist

Sr Inventory Management Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific manages lab inventory and supply logistics for customer sites. Using handheld scanners and mobile systems, the role encompasses order processing, shipment receipt, inventory tracking, and customer support in a warehouse and laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Use handheld RF scanners and mobile app for replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, and returns processing
- Receive, inspect, and scan shipments; store items and maintain accurate inventory records
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone; collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues
- Monitor stock levels proactively and communicate gaps or issues to prevent operational disruptions
- Maintain safety and organization standards by adhering to site guidelines and wearing required PPE
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory control experience
- Proficiency with RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning applications
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, particularly via email
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
Compensation: $25.10/hr
