Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide MedSurg and Telemetry overflow coverage in a high-volume acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient-focused, and capable of managing both MedSurg and Telemetry patients with strong clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor patients in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units to ensure optimal care.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately using the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Float between MedSurg and Telemetry units as needed to support staffing demands.
  
  
• 
  Respond to emergencies promptly, providing critical patient assessments and interventions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 1 year recent acute care hospital experience.
  
  
• 
  Be BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certified and hold current ACLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience with Meditech EMR or willingness to attend training.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
