Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other effective interventions during sessions to facilitate impactful change.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that clients' information remains secure and private.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning and case reviews with a multidisciplinary team to elevate the standard of care delivered to clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions and available resources, fostering a better understanding of their treatment pathways.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and research in mental health practices, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, who are grappling with various mental health challenges. Our organization is particularly focused on assisting clients navigating addiction recovery, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals enhance their coping strategies and achieve sustained recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as an LICSW or LMHC in the state of Washington.
• Ability to implement solution-based psychotherapy interventions that are responsive to the individualized needs of clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Adept problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities to address complex client scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, particularly with telehealth delivery.
• Knowledge of community resources and external support organizations to better assist clients in their recovery journey.
• Previous engagement with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance client outcomes.
