Dietary Aide- This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants a career in culinary services. We’re willing to train, come join our team! Position Summary: Provide assistance and support in all food functions including preparation, processing, delivery to patients, etc. Must be willing to work either AM shift (6am to 2:30pm) or PM shift (12:30pm to 9pm) Responsibilities: Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook as requested Help with meal preparation in accordance with patient dietary needs Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance Timely setting up of meal service, maintenance of food carts and delivery of meal trays Adheres to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up Keeps work areas clean (sweep/mop floors, sterilize counter tops, etc.) Wash and clean cooking equipment, utensils, meal service trays, etc. Return clean dishes and utensils to the proper storage areas Collect and carry out garbage Dispose of food and waste per facility regulations Prep food supplies for the next meal Follow all safety regulations and precautions at all times Benefits: Competitive pay Health Benefits – Medical, dental, and vision coverages with company paying a substantial portion of costs (voluntary supplemental plan options available) 401(k) with discretionary company match annually Company paid Basic Life and disability insurance (Buy up options available) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holiday) Employee Assistance program Tuition Assistance and Profession Enhancement Funds Bene-Hub employee sponsored discount programs and more….
