Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: Up to $500k split between base and bonus The company is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with strong Python and Linux skills to join a high-performance technology environment. The role is suited to someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, improving platform resilience, and supporting systems where uptime, speed, and stability are critical. This person will work in a fast-moving, technically demanding environment with a strong focus on operations, automation, and low-latency performance. It is a hands‑on role where the engineer will help ensure critical infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, while also contributing to tooling and process improvements that reduce operational risk. What the role involves Owning the reliability, performance, and operational health of critical systems. Using Python to build automation, improve workflows, and reduce manual intervention. Working extensively in Linux‑based environments supporting production infrastructure. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across distributed systems and services. Improving incident response, alerting, observability, and system resilience. Partnering with engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver robust operational support. Contributing to performance tuning and support for low‑latency environments. What the ideal candidate brings Strong experience in SRE, platform engineering, or production support roles. Solid Python programming skills for automation and tooling. Deep hands‑on Linux experience in operational environments. Strong understanding of ops, incident management, and service reliability. Experience supporting low‑latency, high‑availability, or mission‑critical systems. A calm, structured approach to troubleshooting and problem‑solving. Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with technical teams. Nice to have Experience in latency‑sensitive environments. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling. Exposure to cloud, containers, or infrastructure‑as‑code. Experience working in environments with strong automation and change control.
