Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans for patients
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and injury prevention
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active North Carolina PTA license (or compact eligible)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• At least 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred

Education

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to document patient progress in electronic health records
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
