State Street, Boise, Idaho 83702 Hybrid 17 months of contract ONLY W2 Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Project management experience in technology projects in health care or state government Required 5 Years Experience working with Idaho state agencies Highly desired 5 Years Experience with change management, organizing training, and communication to ensure a smooth roll-out of new systems and processes Required 5 Years Experience with system and data conversion from legacy systems to new systems Required 5 Years Experience with state Medicaid agencies Highly desired 5 Years This senior project manager will lead the implementation of the new Medicaid Management Information System modules and components from beginning to end, identifying schedule, scope, budget, implementation plan, and risk mitigation Lead the implementation of the new Medicaid Management Information System modules and components from beginning to end, identifying schedule, scope, budget, implementation plan, and risk mitigation Coordinate with all vendors and project managers via a master schedule and project governance to monitor risks, schedule, and deliverables. Ensure end product meets requirements and deliverables for the EDW Coordinate resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification Analyse project progress and adapt when necessary Establish and maintain relationships and provide updates to appropriate audiences as needed Present to department executives and legislative body on project progress Specific skills: 5 years project management experience in technology projects in health care or state government Strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage to deadlines and the critical path for project success Ability to gather requirements and prioritize execution of data aggregation, analytics, and report development Ability to actively work to expose issues as early as possible and work with Management to resolve Ability to identify decision-making issues and key stakeholders, develop and implement strategies to encourage and obtain stakeholder and/or community awareness and support, and identify project partners Preferred qualifications: Experience working with Idaho state agencies Experience with state Medicaid agencies Experience with system and data conversion from legacy systems to new systems Experience with change management, organizing training, and communication to ensure a smooth roll-out of new systems and processes
