Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Production Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of production operators, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and supply chain, to optimize workflow.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and systems for production planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
