Junior Tax Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Tax Accountant in Secaucus, NJ. Duties Include:
- Prepare and process requests related to tax filings, estimates, and extensions
- Support timely completion of compliance-related filings and submissions
- Maintain and update internal compliance calendars and tracking tools
- Assist with responding to tax notices and inquiries
- Support preparation of federal and state income tax returns
- Assist with calculations related to state and local tax allocations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of tax or compliance processes preferred
- Experience with tax or financial software is a plus
