Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will support surgical procedures, maintain patient safety, and ensure smooth perioperative operations.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, ensuring proper sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Manage and document all perioperative patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow strict safety protocols and infection control standards to maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 1.5 years of RN experience in an operating room setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with charting systems such as Epic.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Travel experience within healthcare settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced surgical technologies, including Da Vinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgeries, is a plus.
