Senior Accountant — Direct Hire | Northside Indianapolis | $90K+ Depending on Experience A well-established professional services firm on the Northside of Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This direct‑hire role offers long‑term stability, strong visibility, and the opportunity to step into an established but evolving accounting environment. The Senior Accountant will handle core functions including payroll, financial reporting support, work‑in‑progress (WIP), client invoicing, contract management, and month‑end activities. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a service‑based revenue model, and enjoys improving processes. Responsibilities Manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) Prepare and process client invoices Support client and subconsultant contract management Assist with client receipts and collections Process payroll Assist with financial reporting Support month‑end and year‑end close Perform additional accounting duties as assigned Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required Master’s degree or CPA preferred Minimum 5 years of accounting experience Experience in a service‑based revenue model strongly preferred Managerial or supervisory experience a plus Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with Deltek software preferred but not required What’s Offered Direct‑hire opportunity with competitive base salary starting at $90K+ depending on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Long‑term and short‑term disability, including maternity and paternity leave Matching 401(k) and profit sharing Annual performance bonus Additional incentive pay for hours worked over 40 #J-18808-Ljbffr
