Our client is seeking a detail oriented Patient Care Coordinator in Albuquerque , NM to support seamless patient care and ensure an exceptional patient experience. This role is responsible for coordinating follow up care by scheduling specialty and radiology appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, referrals, and certifications, and managing referral work queues. The ideal candidate will monitor patient follow up activities, process urgent referrals, maintain scheduling accuracy and efficiency, and track overdue results, waitlisted appointments, and recalls. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient centered service are essential for success in this role.
Requirements :
- 2 plus years in administrative tasks experience
- 2 plus years experience in a clinical setting with significant MD interaction
- Must pass EPIC competency for registration at completion of epic clerical training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
Hours : Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Compensation : $18.00-$20.00/hour
