Lead Java Developer, FX Engineering

The group is responsible for FX trading and related services. Low latency experience needed.We value technical aptitude, innovative thinking, great learning and teamwork ability.ResponsibilitiesClosely working with architects and other team members and groups to develop and build complex applications that meet the needs of FX engineering.Design, development and support of trading venue.Ongoing support and development of cloud services including working with product development groups to build cloud aware applicationsDevelop automated processes to prevent, identify, and fix problems that impact service availabilityIdentify and deliver improvements across a broad range of areas such as cost savings, security, ease of use, & reliability.Required SkillsStrong Java programming skills and experience writing clean codeData structures and AlgorithmsExpertise in concurrency and performance optimization,Deep understanding of system architecture and memory management.Proficient in profiling toolsExperience with specialized libraries and frameworks for low-latency applicationsKnowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, network performance, and techniques for optimizing network communication.Proven track record of delivering goalsKnowledge & Experience of modern agile development methodologiesExposure to DevOps practices and automation of software testing, delivery, and infrastructure changesSelf-motivated and self-directed, able to work effectively in a globally distributed team, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teamsProven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to completionDesired SkillsExperienced in cloud technologiesExperience with SQL and NoSQLStrong passion for technology, a willingness to learn new skillsExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsCareer Stage:ManagerCompensation/Benefits Information:LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $147,500 - $245,900.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
