This campus is also home to the Life Care Program, which provides long‑term residential care for individuals who have sustained serious, life‑altering injuries and require ongoing clinical and behavioral support. Position Summary The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides therapeutic services to adult patients in a structured inpatient neurorecovery setting. This role supports emotional stabilization, behavioral progress, and long‑term recovery for individuals with complex neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy for adult patients Complete psychosocial assessments and contribute to individualized treatment plans Document clinical services in accordance with regulatory and facility standards Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Implement evidence‑based therapeutic interventions tailored to neurological recovery Provide crisis intervention and de‑escalation support as needed Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews Support discharge planning and continuum‑of‑care coordination Qualifications Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the State of Texas Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field Experience in adult inpatient, neurorehabilitation, or behavioral health settings preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skillsAbility to work in a structured, team‑oriented healthcare environment Licensure/Certification Requirements Texas LPC license in good standing CPI or de‑escalation training (required within 30 days of hire) Must maintain all certifications and licensure throughout employment Why Join Nexus Neurorecovery Center – Conroe?
