Operating Room (OR) Operating Room (OR), Issaquah, Washington
The operating room professional will support surgical services across orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine with a mix of inpatient and outpatient case types. Responsibilities include circulating and scrub duties based on assignment, with additional support for procedures involving robotics, sedation monitoring, and specialized equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Education: Not specified
  • License: Must bring current license on the first day
  • Experience: 2 years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Scrub experience for the specific specialty mix (including orthopedics/sports med where applicable)
  • Endoscope experience for ENT cases (strongly preferred)
• Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Support a surgical service line that includes orthopedics (including sports medicine), general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine
  • Perform circulating and/or scrub functions as assigned (e.g., total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, ortho, robotics, trauma, vascular, and other listed OR specialties)
  • Support procedures and specialty skills including (as applicable to assignment): robotics, procedure sedation, blood/blood products administration, drains, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, port-a-cath and vascular device access/care, wound vac, and related OR capabilities
  • Provide weekend coverage for on-call support only, if required
  • Float to other campuses within the same service line may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Staffing and scheduling follows a block scheduling type
  • On-call may be required
  • Previous permanent staff from the referenced legacy system are not permitted to work as travelers, and any active permanent staff from the referenced system is a hard stop for the OR unit and OR specialties (no exceptions)
