Position Blaster – responsible for preparing aircraft landing gear components for plating and refinishing. This role is based in Medley, FL. Eligibility Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. Responsibilities Blast paint and coatings from incoming landing gear components to prepare them for further processing Precisely blast designated areas on components to prepare surfaces for chrome and nickel plating Perform blasting operations for cadmium and other specialized coatings, including "Fun Nital" Operate and maintain blasting equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met and areas are properly prepped for plating Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support production goals Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training in blasting or surface preparation Experience in aerospace or landing gear components Knowledge of plating processes and industry safety standards Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
