About the Opportunity

Ocean Mazda Roswell is seeking motivated, professional, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultants to join our Sales team.

We are looking for individuals who are energetic, competitive, personable, and committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates with strong sales, hospitality, or customer-service backgrounds who have the drive and ability to succeed in automotive sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally.


• Build rapport with customers and identify their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.


• Provide a welcoming, consultative, and customer-focused sales experience.


• Maintain strong knowledge of Mazda vehicles, features, technology, trim levels, incentives, and available inventory.


• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations.


• Accompany customers on test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits.


• Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs.


• Present available purchase and lease options in coordination with Sales Management.


• Work closely with Sales Managers and Finance Managers to complete transactions efficiently.


• Follow up consistently with prospective and existing customers by phone, email, text, and approved dealership systems.


• Respond promptly to internet and dealership leads.


• Maintain accurate customer information and activity within the dealership's CRM.


• Complete assigned follow-up activities and maintain an active sales pipeline.


• Develop repeat and referral business by maintaining relationships with customers after the sale.


• Assist with vehicle delivery and ensure customers understand important vehicle features before leaving the dealership.


• Maintain required knowledge of dealership inventory and incoming vehicles.


• Participate in sales meetings, training, manufacturer programs, and dealership events.


• Complete required Mazda product and certification training.


• Meet or exceed established sales, customer-satisfaction, and performance expectations.


• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct consistent with Ocean Automotive Group standards.


• Follow all company policies, dealership procedures, and applicable compliance requirements.


• Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Management.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required.


• Previous sales, hospitality, luxury retail, customer service, or other relationship-based experience is a plus.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to learn vehicle features, technology, and manufacturer programs.


• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, email, text, and other sales technology.


• Ability to work a flexible dealership schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.


• Professional appearance and demeanor.


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.


• Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements.

Training & Development

Ocean Mazda Roswell provides training and development to help our Sales Consultants succeed.

Sales Consultants are expected to participate in dealership and manufacturer training and continuously develop their product knowledge, sales skills, customer-service skills, and understanding of the Mazda brand.
