- Executing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
- Providing education to patients and their families surrounding wellness, disease prevention, and management
- Prescribing treatments and medications as governed by your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and long-term care management
- Working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certificate
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or five proficient within 90 days
- Strong clinical judgment paired with a warm and caring approach
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff
