PC TECH ANALYST 1 (ON-SITE ONLY)

Job Summary Performs the deployment, configuration and management of our desktop, laptop and hardware systems (printers, phones, etc.) and works directly with SDMG staff and provides helpdesk support. Duties & Responsibilities Provide front-line technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person and document all issues in a ticketing system to ensure tracking and timely resolution. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance. Configure and install computer hardware including but not limited to desktops, printers, scanners, and telephony and conferencing equipment. Perform computer and telephony equipment adds, moves, and changes. Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. Troubleshoot and fix day‑to‑day software and hardware problems. Assist in maintaining organization’s equipment inventory. Diagnose small‑scale problems. Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advance notice. No regular travel required. Other duties as assigned. May be exposed to hazardous drugs. Attends OSHA training upon initial employee orientation and annually completes an OSHA competency. Requirements Relationship with Others Excellent communication and organization skills. Strong departmental relationships and has the ability to provide a high level of customer service. Education / Experience / Knowledge Associate’s degree in an IT related field or high school with an additional 2 years of work experience in a related field may be substituted for degree requirement. Certifications desired: A+, Network+, MCP. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a valid New York State Driver’s License. Physical Requirements Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. Basic dexterity skills, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, vision abilities required; close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. #J-18808-Ljbffr
